After several months of work the site has been upgraded, although the site still needs a bit of polish to finish things off.
If you find any issues please post them here or PM Forum Admin.
The site and its settings are under review so things may change to hopefully improve the site.
If you have any suggestions, again please post or PM.
This site only works if you, its members, make suggestions and post.
Here's a brief overview of some of the changes and additions
We've added some extra smilies, and removed some that weren't used.
We'll keep an eye on these and may add some more or re-add in ones we removed.
We've added some extra avatars and animated avatars are now allowed.
You may notice some extra formatting options too, including different fonts.
Probably the first thing you'll notice is the Calendar at the top of the page.
Forum Admin will update this regularly, if you would like a martial art related event added please PM Forum Admin
We have added a gallery to the site, just click on the button at the top of the page.
Existing Members of the forum automatically have an account with the gallery.
Other forum visitors must be a member of the forum to gain access to the Gallery.
The Gallery has several public galleries to which only Martial Art or Martial Art related photos/images can be uploaded.
Members also have their own gallery to which they may upload any type of photo/image (that complies with the site rules) not necessarily Martial Arts, so a photo of a member's car, pet, girlfriend/boyfriend or family members can be uploaded to your own private gallery. If you have any doubt just send the Admin team a PM or email and ask.
All members can use the Private Messaging.
Members with less than 50 posts can't initiate PM contact with other members, however they can PM the Admin team and receive & respond to PMs sent to them from other members.
The storage space for PMs has been increased.
Another feature added to the forum is the ability to upload/download files.
There are quotas based on the number of posts that a member has made which allows larger files/more files to be posted when the member moves through the levels.
In your profile you can, if you want, add the club that you train at and the Style(s) that you practice.
Members can also block other members from viewing their profile if they want.
As a defualt view profile is blocked, if you want other members to view your profile you must goto your profile and enable it.
An option also allows members to accept/reject PM's from other members (not from Admin though)
The Knowledge Base will be used to help members use the site or to explain aspects of the site.
