TACFIT

A new breed of cross training has emerged which combines an incredibly effective body weight conditioning program, with a gritty military edge. It’s called TACFIT. Scott Sonnon, a professional fighter, MMA coach and creator of the circular strength training system is the man who developed TACFIT. This military based training program has been designed to burn off body fat, build lean muscle mass and super-charge your metabolism.
TACFIT is a program based on holistic functionality; training ALL your muscles to work together in creating a physique that is as functional for the part time athlete as it is to the elite military trainer.
All TACFIT workouts are based on the “6 Degrees of Freedom” model which is as follows:
• Heaving: moving up and down
• Swaying: moving right and left
• Surging: moving forward and backward
• Pitching: bending forward and backward
• Yawing: twisting right and left
• Rolling: turning right and left
Training incorporating this model ensures that your body remains physically balanced. This means that you won’t waste time dealing with injuries from overuse, or over-compensations created by performing the same repetitive movements day after day. Using 6-Degrees will demonstrate that previous areas of weakness will begin strengthening —resulting in an increased performance in every aspect of your movement and training?
One of the best aspects of TACFIT is that you don’t have to be a tactical operator or elite sports person to reap the benefits. All the activities are scalable to suit your size, strength and fitness level to allow you to succeed and progress through each level of difficulty built into the programme.
Whether you are training for a specific goal, or you are just interested in pushing your body to the limit, TACFIT provides the means to succeed.
