Someone mentioned lack of muscles in the wrist.

This is something to take note of, and we use it to take someone down. If you push on the top of your wrist, trying to push the palm of your hand against your forearm, you'll realise it hurts. Push hard enough and you'll start to feel a new kind of pain Laughing

The reason why this is such a nifty little trick is that the pain incapacitates and there are no muscles strong enough to bring that wrist back if you have good leverage on that hand.

I'm not sure how relevant this is to the thread but hope it helps someone out.

Sam

Yep. It's pretty bloody incredible. A mate had to use one on operations. It put the bloke on the ground then he brokes his arm. Pretty good for a 40yr old ey!

Good technique does not discriminate against age quite like other attributes such as strength, speed and reflexes Wink

Cheers,

Thats gotta hurt!

Imagine getting an arm busted on the street via a wrist lock? Watching it would be like witnessing Segal in real life Wink

Hold up! I didn't explain it properly. The wrist lock put the bloke on the ground. Then the upper arm was stomped and it broke.

still experiencing some pain when doing certain chokes - clock choke and forearm choke where your fingers are deep in the lapel. My wrists just dont bend enough and I think in part it may have something to do with real thick and stiff lapels. I just wont use these chokes

hey guys. i strongly recommend the gyrotwister for anyone with weak wrists. I have got one myself and 10 to 15 minutes a day on each arm works a treat. :D
